MBA FINANCIAL SHOULD BE AVOIDED!
8/6/02
I ask you ... why would anyone use a company that repeatedly breaks the
law and has no regard for our privacy?
One such company is MBA Financial owned by Dale Finney. Mr. Finney and
his scumbag company are some of the worst offenders of the Federal Faxing
laws which unquestionably prohibit unsolicited faxes to homes and offices.
The law says if they do it knowingly … they are subject to even
higher penalties.
Finney hides behind the fact that he hired a company to do his dirty
work. But in the past that has not gotten companies out of paying hefty
fines for breaking the law. You can’t deny responsibility when you
knowingly take part in the unsolicited faxing campaign.
In my opinion, Mr. Finney is an unethical businessman because he
refuses to abide by the law. And even without a law … he would still be
a creep. Consider this: He finds nothing wrong with using our paper, our
ink, our electricity and our homes to support his advertising efforts. At
least the junk mailers use their own money to print their ads. Finney and
his ilk use our resources.
I believe this trend will only get worse unless we make examples of the
companies who knowingly break the law. Therefore I suggest you let Finney
at MBA Financial know that you disapprove of his tactics. I also recommend
that you do not do business with him.
Recently there have been many successful lawsuits against illegal
faxers. People have collected thousands of dollars in damages. In Denver,
one attorney is pursuing a class action lawsuit. I am going to talk to him
about joining the lawsuit and naming Finney as one of the offenders.
I have made numerous requests that he NOT fax me at my home or office,
yet he ignores my pleas and selfishly continues the practice. That is why
I believe he does not deserve our business.
If we let illegal faxers know that we hate the practice, perhaps they
will stop invading our homes and uses our resources. What right do they
have to use our supplies for their commercial gain? The have NO RIGHT!
